DXcercise

This tape is themed around the Oberheim DX Programmable Digital Drum Machine. Released in 1983, the DX boasted 18 drum sounds. The sounds are stored on individual EPROM chips, configured beautifully inside the unit. Each sound has it's own output, as well as tuning knob. No Midi In, Out, or Thru. 6-sound max polyphony. The main screen is a 4-digit, 7-segment numeric display which shows information such as Song, Length, Tempo, Signature, Quantize, ans Swing. This machine weighs 12 pounds.
